2023-24 Oklahoma City Thunder Roster Revealed

Impressive Improvements in Recent Years

Thunder Making Strides in Western Conference

The Oklahoma City Thunder have released their roster for the upcoming 2023-24 NBA season, and it features a mix of promising young talent and experienced veterans. After a disappointing 24-58 record in the 2021-22 season, the Thunder made significant strides last year, finishing with a 40-42 record and 10th place in the Western Conference.

The Thunder's roster is led by All-Star guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who is coming off a breakout season in which he averaged 31.6 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 6.0 assists per game. Other key players include Josh Giddey, who emerged as a rising star last season with 16.3 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 6.9 assists per game, and Jalen Williams, a promising rookie who impressed in the 2023 Rising Stars Challenge.

The Thunder also added some key veterans in the offseason, including point guard Ty Jerome and center Mike Muscala. Jerome is a reliable ball-handler and three-point shooter, while Muscala provides a veteran presence and shooting threat from the frontcourt. The team also added several young players through the draft, including first-round pick Dillon Brooks and second-round pick Jaylin Williams.

With a strong young core and a solid supporting cast of veterans, the Thunder are poised to make another step forward in the upcoming season. They will be looking to challenge for a playoff berth and continue their upward trajectory in the Western Conference.
